Extract Cream Review (With Original Pictures)

We’ve grown up hearing about the goodness of Extract whitening cream! There’s a reason why it’s been a trusted product for generations—it actually does what it promises. Trusted by many people for gradually clearing dark spots and whitening the body. Extract cream has etched a special place in our beauty closet.

It was only about a year ago that I was introduced to the product by my cousin who used it diligently throughout her period in school. My concerns were acne scars, dehydrated skin and uneven skin tone. At first, I was confused and it took me a while to include it in my routine. Here’s how I feel about it.

Extract is a good cream when it comes to getting rid of dark spots, and clears sunburns, blemishes, freckles, melasma, blackheads, discolouration, marks and dark circles under the eyes effectively. Extract cream also clears acne, and pimples and also lightens the whole body quickly.

Extract Cream Ingredients

Extract cream ingredients include; Aqua, Glyceryl Stearate, Ceteareth-20, Ceteareth-12, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Palmitate, Dicaprylyl Ether, Niacinamide, PEG 100 Stearate, Caprylyl Glycol, Pentaerythrityl Distearate, Salicylic Acid, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Cocoglycerides, Sodium Metabisulfite, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Glycerin, Sucrose Dilaurate, Polysorbate 20, Pea Extract, Xanthan Gum, Gluconolactone, Tetrasodium EDTA, Propylene Glycol, Calamansi Fruit Extract, Papaya Fruit Extract, CI 19140, CI 16035 and Fragrance.

Though I love how it worked for my skin, it’s important to accept that it does contain a few contentious ingredients. It contains a long-lasting fragrance, which might not suit pregnant women and people with scars. It can cause inflammation in some cases, especially on sensitive skin. My cousin has a normal to combination skin type, it didn’t tingle her skin or cause irritation. Though the fragrance is not overwhelming, you may consider doing a patch test once.

The best ingredient in Extract whitening cream is PAPAYA FRUIT. It helps whitens the skin in just a week and as you know, it’s found in almost all body and face creams that are made from natural fruit extracts.

Good, Bad and Overalls

While I like the product and it worked for my skin type, it can work differently on different skin types. It helped even out my skin tone, smoothening the texture and moisturising the dry areas of my face. It also visibly reduced my scene scars. It gives a soft sheen to the skin which brings out that perfect golden glow when I use makeup. I use it in my nighttime routine as the last step however, I keep my PM routine simple with just three steps—cleansing, toning, and Extract. While using body cream, I avoid layering products to keep it less complicated for my skin. Lastly, the fact that a little extract goes a long way, you might not need to change or refill it frequently.

  • Uhm!my skin feels like i’m bleaching,i usually skip night routines,hehehe
do u think it’s bcus m nt Consistent?

    • Hi Jesyca, I wouldn’t say it’s Consistency though, it’s the cream itself. Don’t worry we will update this post soon. That said, Extract cream is a whitening body cream that is expected to lighten your skin tone within a short period of time if possible. This cream doesn’t contain SPF30 talk less of SPF50 (sunscreen) therefore you’ll experience a series of bleaching phases each time you use it with applying sunscreen.

      I hope this helps.
